Social Justice Network

Bringing UK Unitarians together to work toward a more peaceful, fairer, and just world.

The Social Justice Network is the evolution of the “Penal and Social Affairs Panel”, a group that started out with a focus on legal justice and broadened out. We aim to have representation from each of the major Unitarians social justice groups, such as the Peace Fellowship and Unitarians for Climate Justice, so that we can consolidate our efforts and responses to critical current events and issues.

New members are always welcome, especially if you have a specific field of knowledge or interest within the social justice sphere. For example, we have dedicated members who keep us informed about legal cases and parliamentary decisions, and others who let us know how our faith allies are engaging with issues. We aim not to be just a “talking shop”, but to share innovative ideas on how congregations and individuals can act to make a difference.

We meet online every two months and in person once per year. If you would like more information, please email Ann Howell.
