• Individual journeys of spirituality brought together in a community.

  • We believe the journey through life is more important than the destination and that all have the right to build their own belief system in a spirit of love and kindness.

  • It's a light to help me on my spiritual journey, joining with others with their own light.

  • A just and loving world needs Unitarianism. It needs our gifts of labour, love, and money. Without these, our vision can neither go out into the world, nor help to change it

Our Unitarian community consists of about 170 congregations that meet in Chapels, Churches and Meeting Houses right across Britain.

Derek McAuley - Unitarian Chief

Welcome to the new website of the General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches. We have tried to meet the needs of those coming to the site for a variety of reasons. Some of the material may not be relevant to you but I hope you find what you are looking for.  It remains work in progress and will be finalised over the coming weeks as more material is added.
